Our Journey to Net Zero
Exception is committed to shouldering its responsibility towards the UK's carbon reduction plans. Our Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) has been confirmed by Crown Commercial Service as compliant with UK Procurement Policy requirements. This means we're committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030.

Here are some of the many steps we are taking on our journey to Net Zero:
- In partnership with Tree-nation, we've planted over 700 trees across South America, Nepal, India and the UK which will offset over 300 tonnes of Co2 over their lifetime.
- Our office buildings are sustainable by design and function. Our HQ in Edinburgh uses 100% renewable energy and is working towards Net-Zero emissions.
- We have transitioned all our office and business systems to be cloud-based, so colleagues can access them securely from any device, reducing our IT footprint and saving energy.
